It was unfair to begin the countdown to the eighth anniversary of Stacey Burns’ murder on a Friday before a long weekend.
So, we can be certain that tomorrow, the investigation will resume in earnest. Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 17, will be Day 112 before that dreaded anniversary.
Once again, I ask, can we expect something to happen with all of our new leaders in place?
Time will tell, but I know if May 10th rolls around with still no solution, I, for one, will be very disappointed!

“Nothing, no matter how horrible, ever really happens without the approval of the government. The problem isn’t the doing. It’s the people in power having to admit they knew”. “There bosses knew. We know their bosses knew, but you don’t say it”.
Excerpt from the movie “Shooter” with Mark Wahlberg; as it applies to the Stacey Burns murder investigation/cover-up.
It is deplorably sad if those in government knew and know to this day who killed this poor woman. Our community has a similar murder case whose murderer has not been caught. The general public, underneath the surface, know who the murderer is. No one will say or do anything, except for the family. Human life seems to have little value to those who take it.
Duke; “They” read this. Could you write a letter on this blog requesting interest in doing a “real” protest march on Concord next mothersday? Just the threat will motivate someone to do something. Stacey’s brother reads this too, I ask him, “if you still believe I did this to your sister, and you have stated that you do, please have me arrested now. But if you don’t please have the courage to say so, 8 years big bro, do something.
