A number of correspondents to this blog have suggested that I publish what I have of Murder in a Small Town: The Tragic Death of Stacey Burns with obviously no conclusions. Also suggested is the idea that I compile all blog posts on the subject and add them as a sort of appendix to the incomplete narrative. This would be a different approach to the book. The blog posts would likely be over 40,000 words, almost as long as the book is at this point.
I’m curious to hear opinions of others on this subject.
Duke
Keep doing what you are doing Duke. Please remember one person can make a difference. Remember the Ghering kids from Concord, NH? They were found in Ohio by a woman who wouldn’t stop looking for them with her dog…. The missing German family in the desert were also found by a man who wouldn’t give up looking….
This may not be a typical missing persons case but it is missing a person- the killer. Who I am sure really isn’t missing at all, just hiding right out in the open as he used to say…..
If you wait for Stacey’s killer to be arrested your work on this story will never be seen. After much reserch into how the N.H. JUSTICE DEPT works I can say with confidence that this case will never be brought. There just isn’t the courage or the interest.
