So far, I know of two people (out of three) who were mentioned in a recent post as being part of a “tip” I received on the Stacey Burns murder case have at least been contacted by the NHSP.
I was reminded by a follower in an email that it had been sixteen days since the “tip” was forwarded to the cold case unit (if there is one) of the NHSP. I also found out through this same individual that investigators do not necessarily get back to their sources with information about the resultes of a follow-up to a tip. Actually, it seems that it is rare that they do, but I surely am curious about this information.
Hopefully, the saying about the wheels of justice grinding fine but exceedingly slow is true in this case.
The next post on this blog will catch readers of my books up to date on two “works in progress.”

Now that the investigation is officially over, and it is. I can say the N.H. State police major crimes unit sucks. They just do. Not as much as the AG’S office but what a pack of cowards they all are !! ya you too Strong. and yes, you can print this. jim vittum
Jim’s behavior might seem contradictory but I can say from experience this weight lays heavy upon him. He was and will always remain a “killer” in many people’s opinion. My advice to him is to get the Hell out of New Hampshire. I moved back to NH in 2001. Biggest mistake of my life!!! The state motto should be “LIVE FREE OR CRY” Courage is in short supply in this once proud state.
