Apparently, the author of the document containing fifteen pages of questions/comments for investigators of the Stacey Burns murder case has received responses from some state offices, indicating they have forwarded said document to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. Is Jeff Strelzin still the lead prosecutor for this case?
Might we hope that this will “light the fire” for more resources to be directed toward closing this case? Will the fact that the new senator, Maggie Hassan, forwarded it to “appropriate agencies” bring about some change?
As we wait to see, here are a couple of other areas mentioned in that document. Were cell phones and computers collected and inspected from ALL possible people with a connection to Stacey just prior to her murder? Did forensics experts thoroughly check every conceivable item in her bedroom and the house? (This seems so obvious to me but the author does mention many items that I would never have thought about.)
Countdown to the eighth anniversary=74 days. Will there be a resolution by then?

It is difficult to try a case on substantial evidence and hearsay alone. As I go back I remember a Wolfeboro Police Officer making a statement in our local paper. It goes along the lines of….Unless she decides on her DEATH BED OR COMES TO SOME TYPE OF RELIGIOUS COMING TO, WE WILL NEVER GET THE KILLER. Key word being “she”.
At the time of Staceys demise and before, Wolfeboro residents enjoyed the period of Cocaine, other drugs booze and free spirit lifestyle.
Let’s go back and see actually who Stacey’s best girl friends were at that time. Let’s go back and visit the so called “Key Club” that was to stay small among friends that actually grew out of control. Also let’s look at the swap your wife group that was happening in one of our Wolfeboro institutions. Then let’s revisit the prostitution in Wolfeboro which some might say came along with the so-called “Key Club”. and let’s more over, find who was in charge at the time.
I know it’s a lot to swallow all at once. Let’s give it a shot.
They still have my phone, three pair of boots and two sets of clothes and the search of the crime scene lasted 5 days, longest ever. Did you know the police connected bags of sand used to sink Cellina’s body in the river to their suspects truck the DAY they found her? Oh ya, our boys solved that one over night. Yesterday the Ag’s office dropped all charges against her killer. After waiting five years for an arrest Cellina Cass’s mother was told yesterday that the man who rapped, and killed her little girl needs help and can’t be held accountable at this time. I have to laugh or else I’d cry. “swap your wife group” Stacey would get a laugh at that one.
It’s fiction, To imply Stacey was anything more than a good person trying to improve her life for herself and her children and that her death is anything more than a domestic issue is insulting to me for one and I can only imagine very painful for her children to witness as well.
I don’t think watching and waiting was implying Stacey was part of a key club. Just that the culture exists in Wolfeboro and was all around her. My ex and I moved to Wolfeboro in early 2000’s. I could sense a sub culture existed and divorced women in their 30’s and 40’s were at the forefront of it. I agree, look for the leader of this drug and sex ring and the truth will emerge. The question really is: can we handle the truth?
Very little outrage over our A.G. dropping all charges against Wendell Noyce the man who rapped and murdered 11 year old Celina Cass. Justice shmustice, who cares.
Simply Mr. Vittum. You eluded the topic at hand again.
The day Celina Cass went missing her rapist / killer told an FBI agent where she would be found. That killer wasn’t arrested for 5 years. This guy confessed and he was let go and will never be tried. Wake up, Stacey’s killer could confess and nothing is ever going to happen. Joe Foster, Jeff Strelzin, Jane Young and all the corrupt Mclane democrats can and will go straight to hell. Maybe, someday NH mothers like Celina’s will again have hope that evil is opposed rather than used against them.
It’s not a conspiracy, these cowards are afraid to do their job. Doing nothing is a safe way to keep from failure, It’s sadly too late for that. failure is who they are. I know for a fact Stacey’s case has been solved but like Kibby and Noyce, Stacey’s killer will never see a courtroom.
Really Jamie. You seem to always jump in to protect your man. Are you not divorced also? Old behavior for sure.
Mr Scott was rumored to be the notorious leader of the key club, where his private island on winni can only be accessed by boat Though, I don’t think the Scotts are to blame here, a closer look at BOTH vittums should be taken.
