For my own sanity, I have to keep telling myself that the reason I am not hearing anything about the progress on the murder of Stacey Burns is because I am out here in Arizona. What other reason could there be for not hearing anything? It can’t possibly be that after seven years since this poor woman’s brutal death, there is nothing to report.
How about those of you living in the area, Wolfeboro in particular, what am I missing? Is the arrest still “imminent” as it was several years ago at her memorial golf tournament according to a “reliable source?”
Life goes on, I guess. Well, most people’s lives go on, with the notable exception of Stacey Burns, who never had a chance to have her life go on.
So, let’s hear some good news about progress from those of you living in the town. There has to be some, right?

You are insane, answers usually come only after a question is asked. The question that should be asked now is “why was Stacey’s name removed from the cold case list days after it was put on?” And another question that ‘someone’ could ask is “why did Stacey’s surviving children get ripped from their home and only living parent in the years following her murder”? I know, that would take someone with balls, something that Stacey’s friends don’t have. As I review these last 7+ years that “peaceful” march on Concord at the 3 year mark sealed the fate of this case. That’s all you got?

What if you ask the questions and get no answers? What if there are still people in Wolfeboro who are calling Mr. Strelzin on a regular basis because of my continued involvement in this case? The “all I got” is a lot more than many others who should be involved much more dramatically.
Sorry I don’t have the balls you mentioned but, trust me, I am not insane, just someone who became involved in this because of a former student and neighbor needed someone to tell the truth.
It became a much more daunting job than I ever anticipated but I hope you’ve noticed I haven’t quit trying.
