As if anyone needs a reminder, ten days from now, Stacey will have been gone for five years!
In keeping with a theme established several posts ago, here is another candidate for Stacey Burns’s agent for justice. Recall that agent for justice is a phrase used in my second novel to describe the character of Brad Wallace, a man obsessed with meting out justice to those who, in his mind, deserve it.
So far, I’ve mentioned the following as candidates for being an agent for justice to bring some peace to Stacey, her family, her friends, and her community: the N.H. State Police, the N.H. Attorney General’s Office, her family, her friends, and the killer himself (or herself).
Here’s another one, a man whom I would think would want to find the killer of his wife and the mother of his five children. I’m certain he must have been aggressively pursuing this case in the five years since Stacey’s murder, if for no other reason than for closure for his children. No doubt, he has questioned the police on a regular basis about the progress they are making in solving this case.
So, Mr. Burns, do you qualify as Stacey’s agent for justice? Surely, you are doing everything in your power to make sure the police stay on this case and that justice will be served.
What better time than now to make that long-awaited arrest as the fifth year anniversary of this vicious crime approaches?

This is My personal plea to Ed Burns to stand up for justice in the grisly murder of Stacey Burns, not only His wife but the mother of His children. Ed, Closure of this horrible crime will provide some relief to those effected and let Stacey R I P.
Thank You
John Smith
I certainly wouldn’t hold my breath on Ed being Stacey’s agent for justice. Even when questioned by the police after her murder the questions were very limited due to the fact that he wouldn’t talk to them without his scumbag lawyer. To my knowledge, to this day he has never interviewed without his lawyer. He even brought him along for his 20/20 interview. Exactly 3 weeks after Stacey’s death her daughter came to my house when running away from her father and told me the horrible things that Ed was saying about her Mother. He’s demented. If law enforcement is waiting for Ed to help solve this or confess my guess is that they are in for a long wait. He has no soul.
In the summer of 08 Wolfeboro parks and rec. took a day trip to Canobi lake water park. This event turned into the reason judge Patten revoked and denied Stacey her restraining order. According to Ed, they had a wonderfull time and it proved Stacey wasn’t worried about Ed at all. I got a completely different and horrifing report of what went down that day, who among the others on that trip know what I’m talking about ? This one event will be the most critical event in the trial of Stacey’s killer. Judge Patten was ‘hoodwinked’ and may not want to admit it. If there is a person out there that watched Ed and Stacey that day, THEY could be the ‘agent for justice”.
I have recently become interested in this case and have read and studied what I could but I am
constantly coming up with questions. Perhaps some of you may have more answers.
Have the police completely stopped working on this case and if so why?
I can’t believe they think they know who the guilty party is and have stopped investigating
any further. This whole thing sounds very complicated and bazar to me. I also can’t believe
that this has been left unsolved in such a beautiful little town.
From what I have read it seems the person responsible had to have been very familiar with
the family, house, etc or could someone have highered another person and filled them in.
Could the whole weekend have been a carefully planned set up? Who stood to gain the most
from this terrible event or could this have been the result of a jeolous wife?
Do we know how many men Stacy was actually involved with at the time she died and if so
have these avenues all been carefully investigated.
Food for thought!
Has Jimmy explained how his BLOOD ended up under Stacy’s fingernails?
